The Alliance Française is a worldwide organisation promoting cross-cultural links between France and the host nation. There are 33 Alliances in Australia. The Alliance Française of Launceston in Northern Tasmania is a not-for-profit incorporated association. Its goals are to foster cultural and linguistic links between France and the local community.
